Red Stampede Receives "Honorable Mention" for the 2012 Pollie Awards

Red Stampede has received Honorable Mention for the 2012 Pollie Award for best "Statewide Republican Candidate Campaign Website in the country (Dan Forest for NC Lt. Governor) by the American Association of Political Consultants (AAPC).

The annual Pollie Awards are the most prestigious recognition of political professionals from around the country that honor the “Best of the Best” in political advertising and communications. Red Stampede will be awarded a trophy and listed in this year's winners’ book.

Red Stampede Founder, Neal Harrington commented, "We are honored and humbled to receive such a prestigious award from our industry's most prominent association. We would also like to thank Dan Forest and his campaign for believing in a vision that technology can provide our citizens extraordinary tools to recruit, engage, and advocate on behalf of causes they support."

The American Association of Political Consultants, founded in 1969, is a bipartisan organization of political professionals. One of the most powerful tools the platform offers is the ability for anyone to share content and/or modules with their Facebook friends and Twitter followers using the Share tool as shown in the image above.

By moving your cursor over these buttons a dropdown box will appear containing a link to Facebook, Twiiter, and another option to get the QR code for the information that you are wising to share. Please note that you must have an account created in order to share the content on Facebook or Twitter.

You have multiple options when sharing content on Facebook. First, you will need to select where you want to share the information on Facebook.

Depending on your Facebook account settings, you may share content on your wall, on a page that you're an administrator, on your friend's wall, and with any group you are a member.

TWITTER

You may also tweet your site content and other items to your followers with a few simple clicks.

Hint: Red Stampede Personal Fundraising Pages are sharable so you can tweet your own fundraising page to your followers and raise money instantly.

QR CODES

QR codes are similar to barcodes in that they contain data such as a URL for a Web page, data or a text-based message.

The unique thing about QR codes is that they can be read simply by using a smartphone.

Many smartphones already contain the ability to read a QR code, while most others have an app that can be downloaded on the smartphone to read QR codess.
